Are Passion Glass Toys safe?

Of course they are, we wouldn't sell them if they weren't. As long as you properly care for your item, it will last FOREVER! One inch of Pyrex can withstand up to 3000 pounds of pressure. We've tested our glass designs and they've always proved to be incredibly strong and durable. Our master artisans use the lastest technology in torches and kilns to create to the highest quality designs available. Every piece is annealed at over 1050 degrees, held there for a specified times according to design and then cooled slowly, taking almost 48 hours total. This annealing process relieves any stresses resulting from the forming process and restores the glass to its strongest state. We then visually inspect every piece and Polariscope test each to insure its purity.

Do we sell toys with scratches, dings, or mars?

No, never, plain and simple. We will never sell any item that has been nicked, scratched, or marred. These are rejects, end of story. Unlike our leading competitors who tell you this is okay, we throw out any item with these flaws. Our competitors say their items get bumped during handling, and that's okay, we take the care to make sure this never happens and if it does we throw that item out. They want your money no matter what and don't care about the quality, we want you to be completely satisfied with your toy.

What is a polarisope?

A Polariscope is an optical viewer that reveals internal stresses in the glass created during the forming process. If Pyrex glass is not properly annealed, the Polariscope will display the internal stresses by displaying the glass as a myriad of colors. A properly annealed piece of glass will be displayed as only as a crystal clear piece. At Passion Glass, every piece we sell has a crystal clear Polariscope display.

Are Passion Glass toys sanitary?

YES!!! Pyrex is the most sanitary toy you can buy on the market. Pyrex is completely non-porous, the surface has no pores or dimples. That means it is hypo-allergenic. No odors, bacteria, or liquids will EVER absorb into the glass. You do not have to worry about reinfections. You can share your toys with your lover and be safe. Simply clean properly and your toy will be germ free and last your entire lives! Can you say that about any other toy?

Why is there no color?

We do not use colored glass because it is not pure Pyrex glass. Because the color has added minerals, it does not have the same homogeneous qualities of Pyrex. Therefore, when you introduce color into a design, you are essentially weakening the glass. We will not do anything that might lessen the incredible qualities and benefits of Pyrex.

Are the toys easy to clean?

Cleaning your toy is both easy and extremely important. CLEAN AFTER EVERY USE AND BEFORE YOU SHARE WITH A PARTNER. Warm water and a mild disinfectant soap will do the trick. You may also clean with isopropyl alcohol. Your toy is even dishwasher safe. Just make sure everything has cooled to room temperature before you remove it. By cleaning after every use, you will prevent germs and bacteria from being spread to your partner. Your Passion Glass design is truly the first toy you can share with a partner without the worry of spreading infection. Just make sure to clean before you share. Storing your toy in one of our padded velvet pouches will also ensure a lifetime of use.

Can I heat or cool the glass?

HEATING… To begin, soak your toys in very warm water for at least 20 minutes. DO NOT USE BOILING WATER!!! The glass will hold the warmth for a long while and even your own body heat will keep the glass warm. DO NOT MICROWAVE!!! Pyrex is an incredible insulator and over heating can cause burns. A simple rule of thumb: if the water is too hot to touch, then your toy is too hot to use.

What is our shipping policy?

Within the USA, priority mail shipping is FREE, and all other International locations will be between $39.99 and $49.99 USD depending on designs ordered and destination. You will be billed seperately after your package ships and you will receive an email confirmation fo this shipping charge. Your International shipping fee will never be more the $49.99, no matter how many items you order.

We ship all items in plain non-descript boxes. We either use a plain brown box box or official USPS postal boxes. We do not put any advertising on the outside so there is absolutely no way to tell what the inside contents are. We respect your privacy and will not do anything to interfere with it.

What is our return, exchange, order cancellation policy?

We will only accept exchanges for unused items due to us sending an incorrect size or error in the order. No cancellations of any orders or refunds of any orders will be given under any circumstance. When you submit payment, you agree that this purchase is final and no refunds or cancellations will be made. Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept any item that has been used. When you receive your item immediately check the size to make sure you've received the correct item. We are not responsible if you ordered it too big, we only accept exchanges for items we incorrectly sent. If we made what you ordered, we have to assume you understood what you ordered. You will have 7 days from the confirmed delivery date to notify us if there is a problem with your order. After that, we have to assume the design has been used and therefor no longer eligible for an exchange. Items can be exchanged only for store credit and no refunds or cancellations of any orders will be given. All returns must be received within 21 days of notice of return, otherwise we have to assume you used the item and it is therefore no longer returnable.

How should I store my glass toy?

We recommend our custom made velvet pouches which are thick and strong. With glass toys, it is important that two pieces do not touch each other. This can create minor imperfections on the surface that you can feel. If you do not choose our pouches, simply wrap in a secure cloth and store in a safe place where it won't get knocked around.
